Getting Caught Up

With the holidays just about over, it's time to get caught up:

1. Biggest News: Our daughter, Gabrielle Margaret Rex Roche, arrived on Christmas Day. Mom and baby are doing great.

2. Holidays: Other than the Biggest News, the holidays were busy and hectic. Holiday parties and lots of shopping to do. Usually by the time Christmas arrives, I am just ready for it to be over. I did spend some time volunteering this holiday season at Warren Village and with Denver Rescue Mission. These experiences helped me remember the reason for the season.

I also decided that I know what I want to do with my life: I want to make tons of money so that I can give it to those who are less fortunate. Call it a voluntary re-distribution of wealth.

3. Aggies: Football team bombed in the bowl game. Unimaginative play calling, drive killing penalties, no pressure from the front 7, and a zero yard punt. I never thought I would say it, but bring on Aggie Basketball.

4. Miscellaneous: The 2008 Presidential race seems to have kicked off with candidates declaring their intent to run. It seems like the election is like the Christmas season, every time around it starts earlier and earlier. It's just too early to get interested.

For right now, I am focusing on my recently enlarged family, new job responsibilities, and other entrepreneurial opportunities.

Blogging will remain light.
